Dear Future Baylee,
I bet this year has been an exciting one, with lots of exciting and new things/opportunities. I pray that your heart is at ease and that God has led you where you're supposed to be - for His plans are far greater than yours. I pray that you stop worrying about what the future has in store for you and that you trust in God's plan, that He will surround you with the people that matter most and support your dreams/desires.
Baylee, I pray that your heart continues to grow in Christ and the love you have for those at Cru and Bethany Baptist Church. You have accomplished SO much in the last five months of 2019: getting introduced to your Church, joining an organization on a local college campus that changed your life and opened your heart up to others and Christ in a way you least expected it (Cru), being baptized. Girl, you have accomplished so much and the trials you have gone through this last year has made you who you are today - so, don't be ashamed for any of it! Not only have you accomplished these things in the last half of the year, but your heart and attitude towards life and others has changed drastically. Don't ever stop loving everyone around you, being yourself, and being vulnerable. The Lord has started great things in you and has even bigger plans.
I hope you don't ever lose sight of what it is you're passionate about. You are so passionate about helping others and being involved with Cru - let your heart continue to grow in these areas and I pray the Lord opens your eyes to what it is you were meant to do on this earth. I hope you continue to share how great God is to everyone you come across along the way and that you don't only share the Gospel with others, but how He saved you from a time of depression and suicide, to a whole new person in Christ. (Ezekiel 11:19) "And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh."
You just got back from your first Winter Conference in Indy where you found yourself in a whole new mindset and your heart opened up. You were able to talk to God in prayer and that is something you are continuing to grow in. You were able to listen to every speaker with an open mind and heart, taking away valuable knowledge to help you grow on this journey. On the last night, you got to hear from Bacho Bordjadze, where you were able to raise your right hand up to the Lord and say, "even this, You can have God." You lifted up all the fears and doubts that were present in your mind to God for He is in control and has a plan. I pray that you continue to lift up all the fears and doubts you have about the future, such as where you'll be a year from now, and trust in God's plan.
One last thing Baylee, I hope you continue to grow in spreading the good news of the Gospel. That you share it wherever you go and that you pursue them no matter how long it takes. God is always at work and He uses people like you to lead people to Him - inviting us to be evangelists. That you share the Gospel from your heart and not overthink it. That you live everyday according to God for He is great and has big plans for you, just wait.
Love,
Yourself (1/1/2020)
