It's almost September and Fall is among us friends. I don't know about you, but I absolutely LOVE the fall and what comes with it: cooler weather, leaves changing colors and pumpkin everything. I am a sucker for pumpkin - whether it'd be a pumpkin scented candle, in my food or even in my coffee, I love pumpkin. I know what you may be thinking, pumpkin in your coffee? Disgusting! But I assure you it is not and with pumpkin spice launching the 27th at your local Starbucks, here are a few ways to enjoy pumpkin spice!
3 Pumpkin Beverages To Try This Fall
1. Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte
How To Order:
1. Order a Chai Tea Latte - Enjoy either *hot or iced
**if ordered hot, ask for no water!
2. Ask for them to add in the Pumpkin syrup - but half the pumps of pumpkin it usually comes with and keep the regular amount of pumps for chai.
3. Add whip cream, cinnamon and nutmeg to top off the drink.
4. Bonus: ask for a shot of espresso (or two) if you are looking for some extra caffeine, plus the espresso will help settle the sweetness from both the chai and pumpkin.
2. Caramel Macchiato
How To Order:
1. Order a Caramel Macchiato - enjoy hot or iced, I like this one iced!
2. Ask for NO vanilla syrup and to substitute in pumpkin instead.
3. Have them paint the cup with caramel drizzle.
3. Pumpkin Creme Frappuccino
How To Order:
1. Order a Pumpkin Creme Frappuccino
2. Ask for them to add in the dark caramel syrup - but do one less pump of the dark caramel.
3. Ask for them to add whip cream to the bottom of the cup and two pumps of dark caramel.
4. Ask for cinnamon and nutmeg on top once the whole drink is finished.
5. Bonus: ask for an *affogato shot if you would like to add in some caffeine since this specific drink does not contain coffee with it being creme based.
**shot of espresso poured on top of the finished drink
I hope you guys enjoyed this blog and give these drinks a try this fall. If you do give these beverages a try, let me know! I would love to hear what ya'll think of them. Until next time.
